Villa Stechlin

The historic romantic villa, located at the lakeside, is now used as accomodation for individual travellers seeking peace and quiet. It features an english stairwell as well as a ceiling adorned with a baroque Halo, noble wall paneling, open chimneys and a breathtaking view at the lake „Dagow“. The villa lies in a two hectare lake property.

Location  
The Villa am Stechlin is located near Mecklenburg, directly at the famous lake “Stechlin” (200m) and only 15km from the small city “Rheinsberg” in an absolutely idyllic natural setting.

Rooms
There are two guest suites available in the villa.
Suite "Lady Hamilton": A small, completely shielded apartment within the villa. Lavishly furnished, with an imaginative bedroom, a nostalgic bathroom and an individually styled living room.
Suite "Lord Byron": Lord Byron, the romantic, well-traveled and extravagant poet of England is the namesake of this suite in the "bel etage" of the villa. You can expect luxury, opulence, a stylish ambience and pure romance with a four-poster bed, lavish decoration and a free-standing nostalgic bathtub.

Food & Beverage
In the morning you will be pampered with a sumptuous breakfast by the fireplace, in the morris room, or outside. Restaurants are within walking distance in town.

Activities & Wellness
Pure relaxation awaits you in the almost untouched nature. But cyclists and hikers will also get their money's worth here. The lake “Stechlin” with its own beach is only 200m away, there is also a boat rental. You should definitely plan a trip to the small city “Rheinsberg” with its beautiful castle.
